Meadows of Hope Equine Rescue is a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of horses in need, located at the beautiful Stonelick Meadows property.

Horses require lots of care and attention, and all of our horses receive (at a minimum) bi-annual veterinary examinations, vaccinations, de-worming, blood tests, dental care and farrier care. Regular horse care maintenance also includes the routine replenishing of feed, hay, bedding and any supplements. Typical monthly care is approximately $400 per month for a horse in fair condition, however, since we are a rescue group, there are also sometimes expenses associated with unexpected illnesses, injuries or emergency care.

We are a small rescue taking in 1 or 2 horses at a time, so every horse that we place with an adopter frees up space and allows us to conserve our precious resources and continue helping those horses most in need. All donations made to our group go directly towards care of our rescue horses and their needs - so every dollar helps!
